Attorney Fahd Haque secured a dismissal of the felony, Assault with Intent to commit Great Bodily Harm Less than Murder, to a misdemeanor with the release of the entire case after probation!
The client, HZ, was at home with his brother. The brothers started to wrestle, and HZ put his brother in a chokehold. The brother called the Warren Police Department. Two officers from the department responded to the scene.
The officers entered the home and investigated the matter. HZ was arrested and taken to the Macomb County Jail. He was charged with Assault with Intent to commit Great Bodily Harm Less than Murder. This is a crime that, if convicted, is punishable by ten years in prison.

HZ agreed to a misdemeanor plea deal of Aggravated Assault, which is a misdemeanor offense with a maximum jail sentence of one year. Haque Legal dismissed the 10-year felony, and upon completion of probation, HZ’s entire case will be dismissed under 769.4A.
